Posted by
Vaido (Võrumaa, Estonia) on 30 January 2016 in Cityscape & Urban.

The First Bosphorus Bridge is one of two suspension bridges spanning the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, thus connecting Europe and Asia. Upon its completion in 1973, the Bosphorus Bridge was the fourth-longest (1,560 m) suspension bridge span in the world (now on 23. place).
This is the view to the bridge from Beylerbeyi Palace courtyard.
Bosporuse sild on üks kahest Bosporuse väina ületavast rippsillast Istanbulis, mis ühendavad Euroopat Aasiaga. Silla valmimise ajal 1973. aastal oli see sild oma pikkuselt (1560 m) maailmas 4. kohal, praegusel hetkel 23. kohal. Fotol on vaade sillale Beylerbeyi palee aiast.
