Jabiru-toonekurg / Jabiru stork

Posted by
Vaido (Võrumaa, Estonia) on 26 March 2020 in Animal & Insect.

The jabiru is a large stork found in the Americas from Mexico to Argentina, it is most common in the Pantanal region of Brazil. The jabiru is the tallest flying bird found in South and Central America.

The adult jabiru is 120–140 cm long, which may not be obvious looking on that photo.
